Community Park, Recreation, Open Space, and Greenway Plan

2010 – 2014

The Parks & Recreation Department is currently updating its Recreation Plan.  As with everything we do, public input is very crucial to formulating an outstanding plan.  This is very important to the residents of Waterford when applying for grants.  We have put a link to the Draft Plan below so you can access it.  The plan is long, 120+ pages, you may want to concentrate on the Recreation Goals and Action Plan which are on pages VII-1 through VII-23.  If you would rather, please take 2-3 minutes to complete a short survey that would help as well.  If you are adventurous you could do both the survey and review the Draft Plan!! 

It should be noted that this plan is flexible it will most likely be changed several times over the next month before it is presented to the Township Board for approval at the March 8, 2010 Township Board Meeting.  You can make a difference!
