Golden
Age Club programs offer men and women age 50 and "better" the
opportunity to participate in a variety of recreational activities.
Registration for all Senior Citizen programming is at the main Parks and
Recreation Office. Please call our
office for more information.
Waterford
Parks and Recreation's Golden Age Club has lowered the age requirement
for membership to 50 years of age. We hope this change will allow more
people the opportunity to participate in our programs. Become a member
now!
MISSION STATEMENT
The mission
of the Golden Age Club is to further health, recreational and sports
activities for persons 50 years of age or over who reside in Waterford
Township and surrounding areas and to promote friendship and leisure
time activities.

In 2008 over 2,400 spaghetti dinners were
served.

With the 2,400 spaghetti dinners served 481
lbs. of pasta was cooked.

In October 2008, 846 apple pies were made and
sold with proceeds going to the Golden Age Club Games.

A Monthly newsletter of
senior recreation activities is available to you when you join the
Golden Age Club. The cost for 2009
is $13 for
Waterford residents ($25 for a couple), $18 for non-residents ($35
for a couple). Memberships are
active from January 1 to December 31.
