The Master Plan is adopted by the Planning Commission to provide a guide for the Township’s future development.  The Master Plan addresses such topics as land use, the environment, transportation, and public services and facilities.  Waterford conducted an extensive public participation process during 2001 and 2002 to develop the goals and objectives that are the foundation of the Master Plan.  The Planning Commission adopted the 2003-2023 Master Plan on January 3, 2003.  On June 23, 2003, the Township Board, Zoning Board of Appeals, and the Economic Development Corporation all accepted the Master Plan to guide each respective board’s land use policies and actions.
