The Force is with us once again!  Celebrate reading and all things Star Wars in one place.  Enjoy crafts, giveaways, and light refreshments as you view every Star Wars book the Children's Department owns.  Costumes more than welcome.

Organization for Bat Conservation
Bats in the Library - Monday, October 17, 7:00-8:00 PM
Ages 5 and up


The Organization for Bat Conservation from the Cranbrook Science Center will be bringing four bats from around the world.  Learn the truth about bats through this exciting and interactive presentation, and why these wonderful animals are to ecosystems, and to you!

Institutions all over the world are playing games, and our library is participating with a wide selection of board games.  Rediscover math and strategy skills as you bring your whole family in to join the fun.  This program will be held in the library's Community Room.  No registration is required.
Crafts, Cards, & Cookies for ages 8-12

We will recycle old greeting cards into "bag tags", make a holiday ornament, and decorate cookies.
