Citizens Online Police Reporting System

The Citizens Online Police Reporting System (COPRS), was designed to provide the citizens with the ability to make certain types of police reports from the comfort of their home computer, office computer, laptop or iPad.

At the Waterford Police Department, we operate on the motto “Policing is a Partnership.” This project was developed through a partnership between the Citizens, Businesses, Oakland County’s Courts and Law Enforcement Management Information System (CLEMIS) and Waterford Police Staff.

What to Report
Please feel free to use this new system to report any of the following incidents when there is no suspect(s):
  • Harassing Phone Calls
  • Theft
  • Damaged Property
  • Vandalism
  • Identity Theft
  • Lost Property

All reports with suspect information require the victim(s) to speak with a Police Officer, and can be handled through our Dispatch Center at 248-618-7550.
