Ballot Marking Instructions

Clarification - Straight Party Voting allowed on November ballot.  Click here for Updated Ballot Marking Instructions PDF.

Earlier this year the State Legislature passed a law that eliminated straight party voting on the November ballot. The issue was taken to the State Supreme Court who has put a stay on this ban as they deliberate. As a result straight party voting is available on the ballot this November.

The Absentee Ballots are inserted in secrecy sleeves which have the straight party option marked off but instructions have been included with the ballot that give instructions for straight party voting. Please use the green instruction sheet as you vote your Absentee Ballot.
